Our mission at White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC) is to continue to be the community's choice for physician and healthcare services. As White-Wilson's commitment to care continues, the provisions of the Affordable Care Act are impacting both you as a patient, as well as our providers.

As an example, your insurance plan may have previously only required a copay; however, you may now be required to pay a higher deductible. As a result this may require that you, as the patient, pay higher out of pocket expenses.

We continue to request that all patients honor their payment responsibilities at the time of service; which includes services subject to deductibles, coinsurance, and those not covered by your insurance plan.

White-Wilson Medical Center has been the community's choice for health care services for 70 years. We value you as our patient and will continue to provide exceptional medical care to you and your family.   • To enable us to serve you in this era of lowering reimbursements and increasing costs, we must request that all patients honor their payment responsibilities.
  • All patients are required to pay, or make arrangements to pay, for services when services are received.
  • Patients with insurance are responsible to pay any co-payments, co-insurance and/or deductibles that may be due.
  • We accept cash, check, money order, and all major credit and debit cards.
  • Payment plans may be made through Patient Accounts or Customer Service.
  • If your bill remains unpaid after several attempts by us to collect, your account will be forwarded to a collection agency for further action.
  • We collaboratively work with our patients to facilitate meeting their financial responsibility.

Insurance Claims

Claim: We will file a claim to your primary insurance as a courtesy to you. We also will file the following secondary insurance:

  • Tricare secondary
  • Medicaid secondary
  • All major secondary claims

If we do not participate with your insurance company, you will be held responsible for 100% of the bill at time of service.

Always contact your insurance agent or employer to ensure that White-Wilson Medical Center participates with your insurance plan.

Radiology/EKG/Pulmonary Services: Even if you have not seen the radiologist or the physician reading your Diagnostic X-Ray/EKG/Pulmonary Test in person; he/she will have studied your Diagnostic X-Ray/EKG/Pulmonary Test, prepared a report for your physician and will bill you or your insurance for this professional service. This will be included on your White-Wilson Medical Center bill.

Physical Therapy: Physical Therapy services are billed under a White-Wilson Medical Center supervising physician who may not see you during your course of treatment.

Billing Policy

Minor Patients: The adult (parent or legal guardian) accompanying the minor is responsible for payment.

Collection Policy: As stated previously herein, your co-payment/deductible is due at the time of service. Payment can be made by cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

If your bill remains unpaid after several attempts by us to collect, your account will be forwarded to a collection agency for further action. White-Wilson Medical Center cannot discuss the account or make payment arrangements after that point. You will be notified by the collection agency of the debt. Services may be denied regardless of insurance coverage, if we have to place your account with a collection agency.
