About Dr. Capra

Samuel W. Capra, M.D. is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and as been practicing at White-Wilson Medical Center since 2004. Dr. Capra is originally from San Francisco Bay area and received a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of California Berkeley in Berkeley, CA. Following his undergraduate, he attended the University of California Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, CA, where he received his medical doctor degree. He completed his residency program at Carolinas Medical Center at Charlotte, NC and fellowship in Anthroscopic Surgery/Sports Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Capra moved to the Emerald Coast from Lake Tahoe where he practiced trauma and sports medicine for more than 15 years. He specializes in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, and performs arthroscopies, joint replacement surgery, hand surgeries including carpal tunnel, and arthritis treatments.

Dr. Capra is an active UC Berkeley alum, and enjoys skeet shooting and pheasant/quail hunting. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
