About Dr. Manuel
Mervin Manuel, M.D. is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and cares for patients at the White-Wilson Pediatric Clinic in Crestview. Dr. Manuel completed his pediatrics internship and residency at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, New York and has been caring for children and young adults since 1997. Dr. Manuel believes mutual trust between him, his patients and their parents is key to effective health care. He values communicating face-to-face during visits so that he can pick up on the nonverbal cues of his patients that aid in diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Manuel specializes in pediatric care; wellness care; preventive medicine; sick care; diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses; and physicals. He also has a special interest in newborn care and the treatment of hormonal disorders.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Manuel enjoys spending time with his wife, also a physician, and their two sons. Together they like to travel and experience different cultures but are also content to just hang out at home. He enjoys cooking, describing himself as a "doctor by day, master chef by night" and is fluent in Filipino.
