Medical imaging involves using a variety of advanced technologies for the purpose of diagnosing, observing, and treating medical ailments. There are several different types of imaging services, including:
The name imaging comes from the devices' abilities to take pictures or 'images' of your muscles, bones, blood vessels and vital organs. Imaging is a wonderful asset to the medical community because it enables doctors and health care professionals to make more informed diagnoses, and to better treat certain conditions.
