About Samantha Beard, CPNP-PC

Samantha Beard, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at the White-Wilson Pediatric Clinic in Destin. Samantha began her career as a registered nurse in 2013, where she worked solely in pediatrics. Her passion for children and her desire to see them succeed inspired her to take on a bigger role in the health of her young patients. This led her to complete a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.

In addition to her extensive experience providing pediatric primary health care, Samantha is also skilled in pediatric orthopedics. She takes great pleasure in caring for her young patients and is deeply committed to preventive care and ensuring children's health and well-being from birth through adolescence.

Samantha believes effective pediatric care involves creating an environment where parents and their children feel heard and understood. She values fostering relationships with parents and her patients and is committed to providing education to help them understand their child's health and available treatment options.

Samantha is grateful to be back in Destin, where she grew up, to provide care for the children in her community. When not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking, exercising, and relaxing on the beach with her veteran Army Ranger husband, their first child, and two dachshunds.
