About Dr. Hoffman
From a young age, Karen Hoffman, D.O., felt like she had a calling from God. This calling, to help people and care for their medical needs, led Dr. Hoffman to pursue a career as an Internist, a path she has followed for more than 22 years and brought her to the Emerald Coast where she cares for patients at White-Wilson Medical Center in Niceville.

Dr. Hoffman is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. She received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before going on to complete an Internal Medicine internship and residency with the Scranton Temple Residency Program, now known as the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hoffman enjoys Internal Medicine as it allows her to create close relationships with her patients and take a more informed approach with their health care.

Dr. Hoffman utilizes a holistic approach in caring for her patients, taking into account how each system of the body works together with the others and plays a role in the physical wellbeing. She prides herself on being a comforting presence during appointments, allowing patients to express their thoughts and concerns about their health openly. Dr. Hoffman specializes in adult primary care and in diagnosing and managing chronic illnesses and diseases. She has a special interest in women's health, including offering annual well woman exams and cervical exams.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Hoffman enjoys partaking in a variety of different outdoor activities, exploring nature, attending concerts and spending time with family. She likes cooking and baking, especially her grandmother's recipes, and even cans her own homemade spaghetti and chili sauce made from vegetables she's grown in her garden.
