About Mary Jean Middleton, APRN
Mary Jean Middleton, APRN is a registered nurse practitioner providing same-day care for most common illnesses, injuries and health care needs at the White-Wilson Immediate Care Clinic in Destin. After many years spent at a Critical Care nurse, APRN Middleton sought to have a greater role in her patients' care and, at the advice of her mentor, went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University in Nashville.

With more than a decade of experience treating a wide variety of conditions, from routine to complex, APRN Middleton's approach to patient care centers around listening and allowing the patient to fully express what brings them in before drawing conclusions. She specializes in all aspects of Immediate Care, including urgent care illness; flu and cold illness; strep throat; non life-threatening illnesses and injuries; accidents such as strains and sprains; Worker's Compensation injuries and adult vaccinations. APRN Middleton is also a certified lactation consultant.

When not caring for patients, APRN Middleton enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children and their dog. She also like to read and exercise.
