About Dr. Shih
With more than two decades of experience caring for patients hospitalized in New York state, Dr. Peter Shih is thrilled to now call the Emerald Coast home. He brings with him extensive experience caring for patients with complex pulmonary injuries and diseases.
Dr. Shih is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-specialty certifications in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He is deeply committed to helping patients find answers and get back to doing the things they love. He considers his patients to be his neighbors and finds it fulfilling to provide them with comfort and care in their time of need. He assesses his patients holistically by tailoring specific, individualized treatment for them.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Shih enjoys sharing his love of baseball with his sons.
