About Dr. Goyal
Ajay Goyal, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist and provides teleradiology services at White-Wilson Medical Center. Specializing in the fields of diagnostic radiology, intervention procedures, and minimally invasive vascular procedures, Dr. Goyal evaluates the results of medical images that include X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, mammography, and ultrasounds.

Dr. Goyal received his medical doctor degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating, he went on to complete his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has over 31 years of experience in the medical field.

In 1996-1997, the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Presbyterian Medical Center elected Dr. Goyal as Chief Resident of the Department of Radiology, which was a tremendous honor for him.

Dr. Goyal, who originally aspired to be a surgeon, discovered his passion for radiology while taking an elective at the local hospital during his third year of medical school. His interest in radiography stems from his capacity to diagnose and determine the severity of a specific medical condition, as well as the collaboration with other healthcare specialists. This led him to be the first in his community to develop a breast MRI program, as well as the first interventional radiologist when he began practicing.

Dedicated and compassionate, Dr. Goyal prioritizes patient care and quality of service in his approach, ensuring that many aspects of radiology are optimized during patient care. With his extensive experience, he supervises and coordinates the radiology team at the Diagnostic Radiology Center of the Treasure Coast (DRCTC) to support the various modalities and types of exams and procedures, as well as to maintain a seamless teleradiology service for the various departments in White-Wilson while providing the best patient care in radiology.

Dr. Goyal is married with two daughters and enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with his family and his parents.
