Medical imaging involves using a variety of advanced technologies for the purpose of diagnosing, observing, and treating medical ailments. There are several different types of imaging services, including:
Imaging technologies can take 'images' of your muscles, bones, blood arteries, and vital organs. You may need to have more than one type of imaging service performed for your doctor or advanced practice clinician to diagnose a condition.
The White-Wilson CT department will now be providing Low Dose Chest CTs for lung cancer screening. There are specific requirements that patients must meet to receive this exam and have it covered by insurance.
We also accept orders from outside providers. If the patient does not meet all the requirements for the exam, they can still have the test, but it will be self-pay. To order, you are required to complete the questionnaire and send the order to White-Wilson Imaging Clinic.
