The Annual Enrollment Period is a time each year to understand your Medicare benefits and determine which plans are best for you and your health needs. It is important to check your current plan to ensure it still meets your needs and compare options for better coverage or savings. Missing the deadline may mean waiting until the next enrollment period. If you need help, you can speak with a Medicare expert, click here to explore the benefits available to you.

Medicare offers a "Welcome to Medicare" preventive visit to those with Medicare Part B insurance. This visit must take place within the first 12 months of having Medicare Part B. The preventive visit is not a physical. At your visit, your doctor will check your blood pressure, vision, weight and height, as well as evaluate your medical and family history. For a full description of what your visit will look like, as well as information about what to bring to your visit, click here.
