The Annual Enrollment Period is a time each year to understand your Medicare benefits and determine which plans are best for you and your health needs. This year, we've partnered with Advise to offer a one-on-one education concerning a variety of plans and their benefits. You can speak with a Medicare expert, compare plans or attend an informational event. Click here to explore the benefits available to you or to speak with an expert.
Now that you're eligible for Medicare, look over the checklist provided by medicare.gov to ensure you are covering all of your bases.
Medicare offers a "Welcome to Medicare" preventive visit to those with Medicare Part B insurance. This visit must take place within the first 12 months of having Medicare Part B. The preventive visit is not a physical. At your visit, your doctor will check your blood pressure, vision, weight and height, as well as evaluate your medical and family history.
