All White-Wilson Medical Center Advanced Practice Clinicians are licensed to practice in the state of Florida and complete continuing medical and/or nursing education. APRN-C and PA-C denote certification.

Physician Assistants

Physician Assistants are licensed health care professionals who have completed a condensed program of medical training based on the physician model. Although trained in primary care medicine, many PAs practice in specialty areas and may function as surgical assistants.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses are registered nurses with advanced education, usually at the Master's degree level. An emphasis on health promotion and patient education is a key component of ARNP practice.
