White-Wilson Medical Center

Clinicians Earn Prestigious Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition

White-Wilson Medical Center has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home™. This distinction affirms White-Wilson's use of evidence-based approaches to quality and their commitment to building partnerships between patients and their primary care physician.

The Patient-Centered Medical Home™ is a model of primary care that emphasizes a team-based approach to improve care, patient experience and reduce costs. Each patient's care is overseen by a clinician-led team that coordinates care across the health care system. White-Wilson clinics in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Navarre, and Niceville are the only health care facilities in these communities to earn the Patient-Centered Medical Home™ Recognition. NCQA standards align with the joint principals established with the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Osteopathic Association.

NCQA is Dedicated to Improving Health Care Quality

White-Wilson Medical Center puts patients at the center of the healthcare process, and provides primary care that is Accessible, Continuous, Comprehensive, Family-Centered, Coordinated, and Compassionate. Our patients have access to extended office hours and same-day appointments, either with their primary care physician or through the White-Wilson Immediate Care Clinics.

PCMH focuses on coordinating all health care received by the patient, and provides resources that help patients manage their health care from home.
