About Dr. Fischer
Melissa Fischer, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and practices as a physician with the White-Wilson Long Term Care and Rehabilitation team where she cares for White-Wilson patients who have been admitted to certain skilled nursing facilities in the area. Before forming the team in 2016, Dr. Fischer cared for patients at the White-Wilson Internal Medicine Clinic in Fort Walton Beach for 20 years.

Dr. Fischer received her medical degree from Louisiana State University in 1993 before completing an internal medicine residency at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Fischer enjoys traveling, learning about international cultures and a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, softball, tennis and golf.
