Destin Business Person of the Year Named

FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida–December 20, 2022—The Destin Chamber of Commerce has named its 2022 Business Person of the Year. White-Wilson Medical Center CEO Alan Gieseman took home the honor at the Chamber’s Annual Holiday and Awards Party on December 13. The award was sponsored by Trustmark and presented by Christian Charlee on the chamber’s behalf.

White-Wilson Medical Center Honors Female Staff and Health Care Providers With Special Donation

FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida–October 14, 2022—White-Wilson Medical Center marked the month of October by celebrating the contributions made by its female staff and health care providers. At the monthly Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce First Friday Coffee, White-Wilson highlighted the level of compassion and care provided by women throughout the organization and used the platform to raise awareness about health matters impacting women. To mark the occasion, the organization made a contribution to One Hopeful Place, a local housing shelter, in the name of the "Women of White-Wilson Medical Center." The donation will help provide a bed in the women's portion of the shelter.

CRESTVIEW, Florida–June 22, 2022—White-Wilson Medical Center took home one of the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce's biggest honors by being recognized as Large Business of the Year. The award was announced during the chamber's Annual Awards and Installation Banquet on Saturday, June 11.
