White-Wilson Medical Center To Host Asthma Education Class

FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida –July 31, 2014— White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC) pediatrician, Dr. Evan Meeks, is hosting monthly Asthma Group Appointment Project (AGAP) classes at the WWMC Fort Walton Beach and Niceville Clinics. The asthma education classes provide valuable information and tips for controlling both pediatric and adult asthma.

These AGAP classes are open to the public, you do not have to be a WWMC patient to attend and you will remain under your current physician's care. During the hour-long classes, attendees will complete an Asthma Control Test, participate in group discussion and receive a personalized Asthma Action Plan.

"Managing your asthma can be a challenging process, but not an impossible one," says Dr. Meeks. "With the right information and treatment, asthmatics can live happy, healthy lives. I am excited to offer classes that are proven to help participants learn to manage their asthma and stay out of the emergency room."
