White-Wilson Community Foundation Helps Kids Start The School Year Off Right

FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida – August 18, 2014 — On Friday, the White-Wilson Community Foundation delivered 32 backpacks filled with school supplies to the children of Children in Crisis. Employees from the Emerald Coast Surgery Center and White-Wilson Medical Center filled backpacks with notebooks, paper, pencils and everything needed for a fresh start to a new school year.

"I am always amazed by the generosity of our staff. The White-Wilson Family is a giving group that I am proud to be a part of," says White-Wilson CEO, Alan Gieseman.

Children in Crisis is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides homes for abused, neglected and abandoned children of all ages. The White-Wilson Community Foundation Backpack Program ensured that each school-aged child received a new backpack filled with supplies.
