FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida – September 4, 2014 — The White-Wilson Community Foundation will play host to the 28th Annual H.C. White Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 26. The long-standing event has supported local causes since 1986 and is one of the most anticipated charity golf tournaments of the year.
"This is one of the longest-standing golf tournaments in our community, and we are honored to carry on the tradition through the White-Wilson Community Foundation," said White-Wilson Community Foundation Vice President, Alan Gieseman. "The tournament is a continuation of our commitment to honor Dr. White's legacy of health and service in our community."
This year, proceeds benefit the White-Wilson Community Foundation and provide valuable health and education services to the community. The four-man scramble style tournament will be held at the Bluewater Bay Resort and begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served prior and the tournament will be followed by an awards reception.
