FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida–April 10, 2015—White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC) has been granted a three-year term of accreditation in Echocardiography in the areas of Adult Transthoracic and Adult Stress. Accreditation means that WWMC has undergone a thorough review of its operational and technical components by a panel of experts.
The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) grants accreditation only to those facilities that provide quality patient care, in compliance with national standards. Accreditation is awarded through an application process and detailed case study review. WWMC is the only health care provider in the Fort Walton Beach community to receive this recognition.
