White-Wilson Medical Center Welcomes Six New Health Care Providers
FORT WALTON BEACH, Florida–July 12, 2017—In recent weeks, White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC) has welcomed six new health care providers to its team. These experienced health care professionals will be providing a range of services to the local community.

White-Wilson's new health care providers include:
- Dr. Lee Barnes - Family Medicine in Niceville and Fort Walton Beach
- Dr. Shawn Hughes - Pain Medicine, Fort Walton Beach
- Dr. Irina Smith - Pediatrics, Destin
- Katrina Borner, ARNP – Care Coordination
- Heather Matthies, ARNP - Immediate Care
- Connie Slaughter, ARNP - Immediate Care
"We expect 2017 to be a year of growth at White-Wilson," said Gieseman. "We are expanding our service lines and continuing to offer access to quality care when our patients need it most."
Since the start of the year, White-Wilson has welcomed a total of nine new health care providers to its clinics, with others slated to join throughout the fall. Additionally, the group has also invested in advanced women's imaging technology and now provides 3D mammography services.
White-Wilson Medical Center is home to over 25 specialties, along with in-house lab and imaging, allowing it to meet most health care needs close to home. White-Wilson physicians are currently accepting new patients in Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Navarre and Niceville.
